Advising at UC Davis is largely decentralized with majors academic advisors housed within departments and college academic advisors housed within deans' offices, with the exception of the centralized Biology Academic Success Center (BASC), the College of Biological Sciences' advising office. Advising also occurs in various non-academic units, as well as Student Affairs. Familiarize yourself with the organizational campus structures.
