EVALUATING CANDIDATES
The rubric to evaluate candidates should reflect the qualifications listed in the position description. For this reason, development of a rubric should be straightforward. Use the the sample evaluation rubric as a template from which to build a grid that applies to the specific position. The qualifications listed within inclusive position descriptions are directly transferable to the rubric.
Evaluations from RAC members should reflect the level of evidence that a candidate demonstrates within the context of the application or interview. The rating scale from 0-3 attributes a numerical value based on a candidate providing no evidence (0), minimal evidence (1), moderate evidence (2), or significant evidence (3) in relation to each qualification.
