Welcome to the Academic Advising Mentoring Program (AAMP)!

We provide a structured environment for UC Davis advisors to apply their experiences and skills with the goal to enhance best practices, promote career development, and broaden connections via focused quarterly programming and mentor/mentee relationships.

Focused quarterly programming.

  • Program topics might include: Appreciative Advising, Data Driven Advising, Imposter Syndrome, Building an Advising Philosophy

Mentor/Mentee relationships.

  • As a mentor: help mentees identify short- and long-term advising goals and provide tailored support to personalize the mentoring program for each individual.
  • As a mentee: build a connection with a seasoned UC Davis advisor to deepen your expertise and expand your knowledge specific to advising on our campus.
