Advising Ambassadors are experienced colleagues who make themselves available as informal, on-demand resources for the UC Davis advising community. Unlike structured mentorship, this pathway is flexible and designed for quick conversations, networking, or exploring specific areas of interest.

You can browse the AAMP Advising Ambassador profiles to learn more about their expertise, experiences, and advising interests. We encourage you to connect with any Ambassador whose background aligns with your professional goals, questions, or curiosities.

Advising Ambassadors are here to:

  • Share insights on their areas of advising expertise
  • Provide perspective on career development and campus culture
  • Offer guidance on navigating specific advising processes or student populations
  • Connect you with additional resources or colleagues across campus

This model is meant to be approachable and low-commitment—reach out to as many Ambassadors as you’d like, when you need support or inspiration. Whether you’re new to UC Davis advising or a seasoned professional looking to expand your network, Advising Ambassadors are a great way to build connections and grow within our community.
